Client Agreement

Rental Policy Agreement

    Please understand that you are responsible for compliance of all policies and conditions listed in our Rental Policy Agreement whether you choose to read them or not and by placing an order you are consenting to compliance. Also note, we reserve the right to modify any policies, terms & conditions at our sole discretion.

 

Payments

Payment is required at the time of booking in order to confirm your reservation. No booking will be confirmed without complete payment of the invoice.

Payment of an invoice constitutes as acceptance of our Rental Policy Agreement and all of its terms and conditions and is explicitly stated on all invoices.

Any unpaid invoices will be cancelled if they remain unpaid no later than 48 hours (2 days) PRIOR to the install.

 

In the event Cards To The Yard is provided with incorrect information regarding the location of the installation address, and is unable to gain access at the time of installation, an additional $50 fee will be charged to move the display to the correct address.

 

The prices that we charge for our rental and installation services are listed on the initial quote requested. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur.

Damages to the rental items will result in an additional damage fee. Fee determined based on the extent of incurred damages. Moving yard card displays will result in a violation fee. Message Sign Boards that are rented are to be returned. They are to be picked up in their original condition, with all contents included. Any missing or damaged sign boards or letters or numbers, will be billed to the customer for the appropriate amount.

 

We do ask that you take pride in your lawn display and treat it with respect. Please do not move the items. Due to safety concerns, please DO NOT allow anyone, ESPECIALLY children to play on the lawn greeting display signs. Our display items WILL NOT safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning, sitting, or playing on it. The signs are made out of a coroplast plastic and will not hold any weight. Please discourage all persons from playing on or around the display.

 

Items that go missing will result in an additional replacement fee. Fee determined based on the replacement value of items missing.

 

Please do not throw lawn display items in the garbage or vandalize our Signs. Even if you do not like the display gift given to you, these items ARE our business. It is best to notify the honoree to not harm the display, as you are still responsible for it.

 

If for some reason, you would prefer to have your display taken down earlier than the scheduled time, contact us via social media or by phone 813-644-2656, and we will make all attempts to pick it up early.

 

Please DO NOT attach balloons to any part of the display. Balloons get hot in the sun. If a hot balloon blows against our signs, they may become damaged. If melted Mylar or balloon material has damaged any of the inventory, full retail price will be billed to the client.

Damaged/Missing/Stolen Rented Display Signs​ 

Cancellations

Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking and invoice payment, and at the time of cancellation are a minimum of 2 days preceding the installation time will be subject to a $20 cancellation fee.

 

Cancellations made less than 30 days in advance are subject to a cancellation fee of 25% of the reservation total and a partial refund will be issued.

 

Cancellations can be made until 72 hours before the installation time and are subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of the reservation total and a partial refund will be issued.

 

Cancellations requested less than 72 hours prior to the time of installation are subject to a cancellation fee equaling 50% of the reservation total, and no refund will be issued.

 

Cancellations for Day-of Service are subject to a cancellation fee that equals up to 50% of the reservation total.

 

In the event of inclement weather, or an unforeseen uncontrollable event that hinders Cards To The Yard to install the confirmed rental, 100% refund is available to the customer, or in lieu of a refund, the installation can be re-scheduled to a later date, and for the inconvenience an additional day will be added to the re-scheduled rental free of charge.

Refunds

No refunds will be issued for canceled Day-Of Rush Ordered Bookings.

 

No refunds will be given due to the client giving us the wrong address, wrong gate code, wrong access information, or no address posted on the house, curb, or mailbox at the installation location.

No refunds will be issued due to the homeowner requesting us to remove the display, due to being denied access to a gated community, due to any animals (i.e., dogs loose in the yard, etc.) that prevent rental installation, if the homeowner, business owner, or security officer prevents us from setting up, or requires us to pick up the display early, and if there is no grassy area located in the front yard and special accommodations were not also discussed at the time of booking.

 Cards To The Yard Property & Rights

All elements of the yard card display are for RENT ONLY and are property of Cards To The Yard. Install times typically take place between 8pm–10pm the evening before the event or 8am-10am the morning of and will be picked up 24 hours after between 8pm-10pm or 8am-10am the following day (these times may vary per request, and per time allotted).

 

Please be aware a company sign with Cards To The Yard will be placed in the lawn with the yard card display, please do not move or hide our sign.

 

We reserve the right to photograph your yard card and use it for marketing or any other purposes.

We reserve the right to make any adjustments/alterations we deem necessary to the yard card sign even after installation and are not required to give the client notice. 

Cards To The Yard reserves the right to politely decline orders that are political, controversial, lewd, disrespectful or that do not fit the celebratory nature of our business.

Liability

Cards To The Yard and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the rental period, not responsible or liable for any damage done to the lawn by the yard card display, for example: holes put in the grass, damage to underground sprinkler system, etc., not responsible for local city ordinances violations, HOA ordinance violations or landlord violations. Please check with your local city/town/HOA/landlords for any local ordinances in relation to yard card displays.

Shipping Policy

Cards To The Yard installs all rentals at the confirmed rental location, and Cards To The Yard picks up the rental at the end of the rental period. Rentals cannot be shipped.

Customer Privacy Policy

Cards To The Yard, respects your privacy. We do not sell or share our renter’s or surprised party’s information to third parties.
